The LA Times described their
sound as "a chest pounding
mélange of electric gloss."
Sugarbuzz Magazine described the
alchemy of "our fave local band"
as "a little bit pop, punk and
power."
Many others have tried to put
into words what makes L.A.s
favorite band feel so damn good,
but the story is told, as their
fans will affirm, in three
simple words: "Rock n Roll."
Poets and Pornstars are just the
real deal. Poets and Pornstars
are Hal Ozsan (vox, guitar),
Sally Hope (bass), Tom Domaracki
(guitar), Randy Austin (keys),
and Dave Plesh (drums).
They have recently placed songs
on six film soundtracks
including Toronto Film Festival
feature Little Athens where they
share the bill with Radiohead.
Rock radio legends KLOS in LA,
together with Bon Jovi, recently
picked Poets and Pornstars to
open for the band in front of
15,000 fans at the Anaheim Pond.
Needless to say they saw 15,000
faces and they rocked them all.
They have also opened for
Buckcherry, Rich Robinson of the
Black Crowes and Tim Burgess of
The Charlatans UK and continue
to grow as the most popular band
in LA to see.
